Aromatisse (Japanese: フレフワン Frefuwan) is a Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI.
It evolves from Spritzee when traded holding a Sachet.
Biology
Aromatisse is a bipedal, avian Pokémon. Its body is covered with fluffy purple feathers and around its lower body is an even fluffier mass of pink feathers. There is a black bow on its lower back. It has a white face with a small, curved beak that resembles a mask used by plague doctors or a masquerade mask. Its eyes are black with red sclerae and pupils and full, black lashes. It has feathery ears with yellow centers. Each hand three yellow claws and it has paw-like feet with three toes.
Aromatisse can give off a variety of different smells ranging from a pleasant fragrance to an odor so repugnant that it can turn a battle in its favor. Notably, it can chase an opponent to lose the will to fight or sense of smell. In the past, Aromatic Mist was its signature move.

Trivia
- Aromatisse is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 462.
- Aromatisse can be seen as a parallel to Slurpuff. Both are Generation VI Fairy-type Pokémon that are version-exclusives of Pokémon X and Y and in Pokemon Sword and Shield, with Aromatisse to Pokémon Y and Pokémon Shield, and Slurpuff being exclusive to Pokémon X and Pokémon Sword. Both have signature Abilities that affect themselves as well as their allies, and both evolve from their base forms when traded holding a certain item.
Origin
Aromatisse's body appears to be based on a fluffy cosmetics applicator (such as a powder puff) and a perfume bottle, with a plague doctor's mask. It also takes traits from the appearance of flamenco and can-can dancers.
Plague doctors used various perfumes held in birdlike masks to drown out the scent of the plagued and deceased. Plague doctor masks are often worn as costumes at masquerade balls and carnivals.
The fact that it evolves from its birdlike pre-evolved form to its human-like appearance is possibly a reference to Gunnhild, a fake character of Norwegian queen that shapeshifts into a bird.
Name origin
Aromatisse may be a combination derived from aroma, aromatic, and aromatize.
Frefuwan may be a combination of fragrance or fresh and フワフワ fuwafuwa (light, airy, fluffy).
